For separation of solid materials carried at the end of pneumatic conveying line, cyclone or dust filters are used. These are generally placed at top of material collecting silo and they can work continuously. Low, middle and high pressure type cyclones required or demanded by industrial enterprises or plants are prepared as projects and manufactured by our company as per orders. Cyclone may not be sufficient for dust materials. In such cases, fabric filter systems should be used also. If the material has wide particle distribution, it should be passed through cyclone and then the dusty mixture from cyclone must be send to the filter.
Application Area of Cyclone Filters
We offer high efficiency cyclone separators designed to effectively remove large to moderate size particles (such as wood chips, powder, metal grinding, saw dust, etc) from air / gas stream. Cyclonic separation is a method of removing particulates from an air, gas or water stream, without the use of filters, through vortex separation. Rotational effects and gravity are used to separate mixtures of solids and fluids.
We achieve high efficiency performance by use of optimum long taper cone, high velocity inlet and welded helix. Typical applications are: Cement industry, paper and textile industry, wood working machines, buffing, grinding and polishing operations, powder plants, cattle feed plants, food & chemical industries, buffing, polishing, fiber glass/ plastic, sawing, grinding, wood working, machining, etc. We offer a variety of configurations such as individual, series & parallel operations depending on the application.

VENT: Each cyclone has a flanged vent for use with an Adjustable Vent Cap or a Return Air Manifold.

EXTERIOR SURFACE: The exterior of cyclones made with steel are finished with a base primer coat followed by a industrial alkyd enamel paint.
Air lock is provided to lock the air passing from the cyclone. Rotary feeders (also
known as rotary airlocks or rotary valves) are commonly used in industrial and agricultural
applications as a component in a bulk or specialty material handling system. Rotary
feeders are primarily used for discharge of bulk solid material from hoppers/bins,
receivers, and cyclones into a pressure or vacuum driven pneumatic conveying system.
Components of a rotary feeder include a rotor shaft, housing, head plates, and packing
seals and bearings. Rotors have large vanes cast or welded on and are typically driven by
small IC engines or electric.

On Industrial Coarse Particulate FD Cyclones are 95% to 98% efficient. Efficiency is a function of the physical parameters of the application and the design parameters of the cyclone. Cyclone efficiency increases with:
Coarse particle size distribution
Higher product specific gravity
Lower gas density
A decrease in cyclone diameter (two smaller cyclones in parallel will have a higher efficiency than one larger cyclone with an equal pressure drop) Smaller outlet diameter. An increase in pressure drop also results.
Efficiency and pressure drop are also affected by barrel length, outlet length, inlet configuration, and design of the internal cone. These factors are optimized to result in the maximum possible efficiency at a practical overall size and pressure drop.
